Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the Hong Kong Japanese Chorus Club will hold an autumn concert on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Sheung Wan Civic Centre.
Founded in the 1960s by a few music lovers, the Hong Kong Japanese Choir celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. Blessed with opportunities to interact with many people in Hong Kong, the Club now has over 60 members, including not only Japanese but also Hong Kong local residents, who enjoy working together through song.
This concert will feature choral pieces spanning a variety of genres, allowing viewers to experience the joy of music and singing.
Mixed Choir: Sakura (Naotaro Moriyama), Boku no Koto (Mrs. GREEN APPLE), and more.
Male Choir: Bridge of Glory (Yuzu), Glory Shines on You (Theme Song for the Summer Koshien High School Baseball Tournament), and more.
Female Choir: Tomorrow (Annie, the Musical), Someday These Tears Will Come (Little Glee Monster), and more.
The selection also includes a variety of songs suitable for children, such as songs from the Disney film "The Little Mermaid".
In addition, as part of our 60th anniversary joint stage performance, all members of the Chorus Club will sing together in unison songs familiar to Hong Kong fans, as well as the choral piece "Azure." We look forward to singing together with everyone who comes to the concert and let’s fill the venue with our voices!
